Synchronizer Shift Performance Study in an Electric Vehicle Transmission
This paper based on a two-speed electric vehicle transmission, through theoretical calculation and dynamic simulation, studied the synchronizer shift performance. First, created a Motor-2AMT mechanical coupling model, simulated upshift and downshift synchronization time and evaluated shifting impact under different speeds. Compared simulation results between motor speed active con- trolling with traditional no speed control shift process. Second, concluded optimum upshift and downshift speed difference for short shift- ing time and small shifting impact, provided shifting strategy reference for further electric vehicle shifting quality control.
