Model Development and Experimental Study for Dynamic Characteristics of Semi-Active Engine Mount in Vehicle
In modern automotive industry, engine vibration isolation has been an emergent issue with the increasing requirement of ride comfort and fuel efficiency performance. Semi-active hydraulic engine mount is an advanced vibration isolator reducing vibration transferred from engine to chassis with excellent performance. In this paper, a decoupler stiffness controllable mount is proposed and in- vestigated. The lumped parameter model is built and parameters are identified by genetic algorithm(GA)and feature point method, re- spectively. The results are compared with the experimental data. It is found that GA method is more accuracy than feature point meth- od. The tests show that semi-active engine mount has superior vibration isolation performance at idle.
