Design and Research on Dynamic Comfort of the Automotive Drivers’ Seats Based on Body Sensation Measurement

  Automobile has been widely used with the development of the automobile industry while few attentions were focused on the comfort of the automotive seats. We are unsatisfied with the automobile style because of the similarity of the selling products and our increasing demands of the beauty. Besides, driving in unreasonable seats in a long time gives rise to the uncomfortable feelings of the whole body when we arrive. In this case, a method which can promote the quality, saving the designing time, improving the comfort is needed in order to get better market feedback, The body pressure distribution shows the rationality and shortcomings of the seat”s design objectively while ”body comfort ranks” tells the different rank of humans” feelings subjectively. In this paper, we collect the direct data of body pressure distribution and get the subjective feeling to measure the people”s comfort feeling , and besides, we collect the body pressure distribution when driving in dif- ferent road condition in order to improve the comfort feeling of customers. We analyze the body feeling data when discussing the designing program and come out with the final revised plan. We get the direct statics of people”s feelings on seats at the beginning of designing process which helps us guide the route of following design and complete the abstract positioning and confirm the improving method when we design our product which has improved the qualities of export product. In the end of our experiments, we verify the accuracy of our design with the methods of finite element emulation analysis. Our study provides the guide route of seats” design based on the body pressure measurement which help the enterprise cut the work period, save the cost and improve the quality mainly.
