Integrated Lightweight Design of Passenger Car’ s Hatchback
In the development process of a Chinese brand SUV, three -dimensional design and finite element analysis technology are used to analyze the static stiffness, bending, twisting and modal performance of the hatchback assembly in the body development stage. In the premise of ensuring the hatchback”s modes, stiffness and other performances. According to the characteristics of the door assembly, the lightweight design of the hatchback is developed combined with structural optimization and material optimization. Use finite element analysis technology to verify the stiffness, modes and other structural performances of the hatchback after lightweight. The ration- ality and feasibility of the lightweight solution are verified by carrying out the test of actual vehicle modes and torsional rigidity. The re- sults meet the requirements and the weight of hatchback is reduced by 6. 7%.
