Modular Design forAutomobile Assembly Line

摘要：

　　For achieving the objects on platform vehicles components commonality, technology sharing, global standard plant, improving production efficiency, shortening developing period, and enhancing manufacturing flexibility, leading car makers are striving to develop modular platform. This study introduces assembly production line design, structure and contents from the aspects of line lay- out, assembly process and equipment based on platform model”s characteristics. It offers some thinking and references for designing as- sembly production line of new plant.
