Engaged Time Analysis for Students with Different Achievements

Engagement plays an important role whether in traditional learning or online learning.More and more researchers dedicate to find relationship between peoples” time devotion and their final academic achievement.However,limited scopes focus on contrasting engaged time of activities between students with different achievements.To that end,in this paper,we separated students into two different achievement groups based on their final grades and compared the engaged time of each activity from the whole course and session perspective,respectively.The results shown that there are significantly differences of engaged time in each activity not only during the whole course,but also in some sessions between different groups.Some instructional suggestions have been given according to the significant differences of engaged time between groups.
