This paper investigates the effectiveness of using an interactive programme to teach primary school studentslife skills on cyberwellness.428 Primary 4 Singaporean students in three schools participated in this research.Change inknowledge gain was measured via a mixed, repeated experimental design involving an experimental group and a controlgroup. The experimental group(N=242)interacted with the iZ HERO RESPECT Programme,an online cyberwellnessteaching programme, daily for 2 weeks while the control group(N=186)were not exposed to the programme. Results frompaired-sampled t test showed significant improvement from pre-to post-knowledge quiz scores in the experimentalgroup,t=3.40,p <.001,while similar results did not apply to control group.Overall, while iZ HERO RESPECT hashelped to fill in the gap in cyberwellness education by focusing on values and providing an interactive learning platform, some changes can still be made in in terms of game elements and instruction in order to effect and sustain longer termlearning.
