On the Design of Interactive MOOCs Content with Keying Skills
Most of universities have invested a quite mount of budget to build their recording studio for developing MOOCs(massive online open courses). In this research,we proposed an affordable strategy to attract teachers more willing to enter the recording studio to record their PPT-based lectures without changing their behaviors. Two improvements,a multi-touch green-screen mechanism and an interactive presenting manner, have been proposed to increase the recording quality and interactive. Also,a three-point lighting method is enhanced with adding a magenta light to reduce the green shadow emerging on the presenter”s body shape. Finally,a standard procedure was proposed to let university teachers follow the social presence principle to interact with teaching materials, students and environment. In our study,we invited 82 computer science students and 4 university teachers to join our experiment by applying TAM to analyze the performance from the interactive digital content run on MOOCs certificated platforms. Finally,we can find that the students were more willing to read the MOOCs designed by our solution.
