Benefits and Threats of Collaborative Consumption

  Collaborative consumption,also known as sharing economy or collaborative economy,aims to encourage it users to share goods and services.The whole idea focuses on cooperation between consumers,rather than on traditional business competition.In recent years,sector of collaborative consumption has grown rapidly,mainly due to the growing popularity all over the world.However,despite of many influential advantages,collaborative consumption still carries a lot of risks.This article aims,firstly to systematize knowledge about collaborative consumption,and secondly to characterize major benefits and threats for consumers,entrepreneurs and economy.This article has theoretical character and is based on international literature,journals and Internet sources dealing with the subject of collaborative consumption.
