Temporal and Spatial Disparities and Dynamic Evolution of Geographical Indications of Agricultural Products in China Based on the data of the Ministry of Agriculture From 2008 to 2016
Through the study of characteristics of temporal and spatial disparities of geographical indications of agricultural products in China,it is found that the temporal disparities are manifested by extreme imbalance in the number of annual registrations, showing a trend of leap growth from less to more, and then entering a steady development trend. The performance of the spatial disparities is a very obvious inter-provincial disequilibrium distribution, and there is a continuous trend of expansion; the disequilibrium is particularly prominent in East Middle West Region, this imbalance also simultaneously exists in regional internal, the overall disparities in these three regions show an upward trend.According to the distribution and market share of geographical indications of inter-provincial agricultural products,31 provinces and autonomous regions have formed four echelons, the disparities among these echelons were weak and the stability was strong, but the disparities are opposite inside. In line with this phenomenon, recommendations will be put forward to improve disequilibrium of geographical indications of agricultural products in China, enhance its brand value and brand effect.
