Controllability of multi-agent systems with directed and weighted signed networks

  This paper studies the controllability of multi-agent systems with directed signed networks,where directed and weighted signed graphs are used to represent such networks.The cooperative/antagonistic interaction between two agents can be described by a positive/negative edge in the network.First,by using the properties of switching equivalent transformation,the controllability of multi-agent systems is studied over three kinds of signed networks,namely,structurally balanced,anti-balanced,and strictly unbalanced networks.It is shown that the controllability of the structurally balanced network is equivalent to that of the associated underlying network.Then,the distance partition and almost equitable partition for directed and weighted signed networks are introduced,and the controllable subspaces are quantitatively studied.
