A maneuvering target tracking algorithm based on self-adaptive improved interacting multiple models particle filter
Interacting multiple models particle filter is proved an effective way to track maneuvering target.In multiple models,the constant speed turn model(CT)is usually used to describe the target”s turning motion.Unfortunately,fixed or partly adaptive turn angular rate is adopted in CT which is one reason of tracking accuracy decrease.In this paper,the self-adaptive CT model is proposed to as one model in interacting multiple models.The value of the turn angular rate is calculated based on the speed change of both x and y direction instead of only one of them or fixed value.Meanwhile,self-adaptive interacting multiple models particle filter is proposed to track the maneuvering target.Simulation results show that,compared to the widely used algorithms,the proposed method has better performance in tracking accuracy and computational cost.
