Typical Pollution Source Assessment based on Source Apportionment in Hun River Alluvial Fan,NE China
Typical pollution source assessment had significant meaning for developing effective groundwater pollution control,PCA couple with FA as the main methods for source apportionment were used to understand the principal pollution components and interaction process. For this case study in the Hun River alluvial fan of northeastern China, totally 43 groundwater samples of shallow groundwater were collected,the15 key groundwater quality indexes in each sample were determined, and the spatial distribution of typical pollution source was described by ArcGIS software. Results showed that four main pollution factors were identified, which explained 75.64%of the total variance, the leaching migration pollution resulting from water-rock interaction, industrial and domestic sewage discharging with 34.21%%of variance was regarded as the typical pollution source, which had strong and positive loadings on Na+,Ca2+,Mg2+,SO42-,Cl-,HCO3-and TDS.Severe pollution area where the factor score were higher(≥0.6)mainly concentrated in the middle and lower reaches of Hun River. The evolution of groundwater quality was mainly influenced by human activities. The industrial production, domestic sewage discharging and agriculture fertilizer pollution were main pollution sources of groundwater.
