Analysis on the Current Situation of Agricultural Catastrophe Risk in China
China is one of the countries which have high frequency of agricultural catastrophe and the largest losses,and the agricultural catastrophe direct economic losses of calendar year increased year by year,among them,the direct economic losses of flood,drought,typhoon and earthquake are particularly prominent,but agricultural catastrophe direct economic losses of overall showed a trend of decline as a share of GDP.The affected population,death(including missing)population,emergency relocated population,areas covered and affected are also showing an expanding trend.The basic characteristic of the agricultural catastrophe risk in China which performed various classes,regional differences are significant,loss is serious and showing a growth trend.China is an area where agricultural catastrophe risks occurred frequently, and it caused huge direct economic loss every year, usually took up more than 6 of GDP,among them, flood typhoon and earthquake drought is the main land of our country agriculture catastrophe. The impact of the affected population, death (including missing) population, emergency relocated population, area of affected crops and crop disaster area is increasing, and it has directly affected the social stability and economic sustainable development in our country.
