Pulmonary pharmacokinetic in rat plasma after intratracheal aerosolization of Tanreqing solution
Tanreqing solution(TRQ)based on the traditional Chinese medicine,is used to cure upper respiratory tract infections.In present studies,a rapid ultra high performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry(UPLC-MS/MS)method was developed for the simultaneous analysis of baicalin,oroxylin A-7-O-β-D-glucoronide and chlorogenic acid in rat plasma,a comparative pharmacokinetic study was conducted in rats after intratracheal aerosolization and intravenous injection of TRQ.The results of analytical method validation test showed high sensitivity,accuracy and satisfying recovery.The results of pulmonary pharmacokinetic showed intratracheal aerosolization had similar rapid absorption and clearance to intravenous injection.The plasma concentrations of intratracheal aerosolization group declined much more slowly than intravenous administration group.The t1/2(h)values were 0.90 and 1.22 for baicalin,0.47 and 0.17 for oroxylin A-7-O-β-D-glucoronide,0.22 and 0.13 for chlorogenic acid,respectively.
