Preparation of Biodiesel From Rubber Seed Oil Using HPW Based Mesoporous Silica as Catalyst
Biodiesel was prepared from rubber seed oil catalyzed by phosphotungstic acid (HPW)based mesoporous silica prepared by direct method.The optimum biodiesel synthesis conditions were studied versus various ratios of HPW and support, catalyst dosage, reaction temperature,reaction time and reactant ratio.The maximum yield was over 84% as determined by GC-FID,obtained under the following conditions: 1∶4 ratio of HPW to support, catalyst loading of 3 wt%,reaction temperature of 60 ℃, reaction time of 6 h, oil to methanol ratio of 1∶20.The properties of biodiesel were shown to be in high accordance with standards and it was proved to be high accordance.
