Is there a significant interaction effect between apolipoproteinE rs405509 T/T and e4 genotypes on cognitive impairment and graymatter volume?
Background:Evidence demonstrates that the Tallele of the single-nucleotidepolymorphism rs405509in the apolipoprotein E (APOE) promoter is a riskfactor for Alzheimer”s disease. However, it is unknown whether rs405509 Tallele synergizes with the APOE e4 allele in influencing cognition and brainstructure.
