Spatial Patterns of Intrinsic Brain Activity in hypertensive patients with and withoutAPOE ε4 allele

Objective Hypertension combined with APOE e4 alleleinteracted to negatively affect white matter microstructure,they may also increase the risk of cognitive impairment and Alzheimer”s disease.However, it is unclear about the alteration of brain intrinsic activity in hypertensive patients with and without APOE ε4 allele from regional perspective.In this study, we report altered patterns of intrinsic or spontaneous brain activity in hypertensive patients with APOE ε4 or not affected individuals using resting-state fMRI.
