A Two-Year Treatment of Amnestic Mild Cognitive Impairment using a Compound Chinese Medicine:A Placebo Controlled Randomized Trail

Objective Mild cognitive impairment(MCI) is considered to be an intermediate phase between normal aging and dementia.Slowing down or even reversing the process of MCI could aid the early intervention and the ultimate prevention of Alzheimer”s discasc(AD).Despite many challenges and setbacks, efforts to cure AD including MCI continue.Among the investigated treatments are those based on traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), which has sought after for its potential in the prevention and cure of amnesia because of its uniqueness and holistic view of treating diseases.
