STELLAR ELECTRON CAPTURE ON NEUTRON-RICH NUCLEI

摘要：

The role of Electron Captures in pre-supernova:(A,Z)+e→(A,Z-1)+veEC on nuclei largely determines the mass of collapsing core(MCh～Y2e);EC reduces the pressure of degenerate electron gas and accelerates the collapse;EC produces neutrinos which leave the stellar core freely,carrying away energy and reducing the entropy.Because of the low entropy,most of the nucleons remain bound in large nuclei.
