Tree composition of a boreal coniferous forest in China
Boreal coniferous forest (BCF)is an important vegetation type contributing to biodiversity and ecosystem services in China.Daxinganling 25 hm2 Forest Dynamics Plot(FDP) was established in Daxinganling forest, which is located in Heilongjiang Huzhong National Nature Reserve, North Eastern China,to represent typical BCF.The aim of this plot was to collect long-term forest dynamics data to understand community assembly rules and forest dynamics under the scenario of global environmental change.In 2014, all trees with diameter at breast height (DBH)≥ 1 cm were spatially mapped, tagged and identified per species.New information in total, 209,785 individuals were recorded in the plot.The plot contains 18 woody species(4 tree species,14 shrub species),12 genera and 6 families.
