Novel mutations in gyrA and parC among Shigella sonnei strains from Jiangsu Province of China during the 10-year period 2002 to 2010

摘要：

Objective:This study described fluoroquinolone resistance and associated mechanism of Shigella sonnei isolates isolated in Jiangsu Province of China between 2002-2011.Methods:All the S.sonnei isolates were characterized for fluoroquinolone susceptibility and direct nucleotide sequencing of genes of the quinolone resistance determining regions(QRDR) were conducted.
