Bacterial community shift drives antibiotic resistance promotion during drinking water chlorination

A variety of antibiotic resistance genes(ARGs) occur in drinking water around the world.Chlorination can elevate the total relative abundance of ARGs and individual ARGs showshighly variable responses to the chlorine stress.
