Background Asbestosis and silicosis are defined as diffuse or nodular interstitial fibrosis of the lungs as a consequence of exposure to asbestos or silica dust.No effective pharmacological treatment to reduce the progress of pulmonary fibrosis due to the unclarified therapeutic target.
