Postoperative nursing for persistent air leak of 18 patients after pulmonary lobectomy under VATS
We summarized 18 cases of lung cancer after surgery with the complication of persistent air leak(PAL).Through close observation,we found the early symptoms of persistent air leak,and according to the leak degree we selected negative suction pressure and duration.After strengthened the airway management,analgesia and other effective medical care measures,18 patients healed successfully without any other complications.Our study have shown that a reasonable choice of the suction pressure and suction duration together with personalized measures can help post-video-assisted thoracic surgery(VATS)lung cancer patients with the complication of persistent air leak recover early.
