Relationships among Online Knowledge Building(KB)Activities,Perceptions of the KB Environment and Epistemological Beliefs

This study aimed to investigate the relationships among primary school students” online knowledge building(KB)activities,their perceptions of the KB environment and their epistemological beliefs.Participants were 44 Grade 4 students from one of the public primary schools in Singapore.The results showed that students” intentional learning(i.e.,the “idea added” indicator)were significantly correlated with their perceptions of KB environment and their beliefs about the development of social studies knowledge.
