Introduction Transforaminal epidural steroid injection(TFESI) is known for delivering at the exact location of nerve root compression by herniated intervertebral disc causing neuropathy.TFESI is largely categorized according to two differing methods,based on the needle entry:subpedicular approach and retrodiscal approach.
