In-situ growth of Ni2P nanoparticles on Hierarchical Porous Graphitic Carbon as super stable anode material for sodium ion batteries
Sodium-ion batteries have recently gained a lot of interest due to its low cost and widely applications. However, the main challenge is to develop an anode material with superior high-rate capability and long-term cycling stability. Here,we initiatively applied Ni2P nanoparticles in-situ grown on hierarchical porous graphitic carbon(HPGC)that synthesized by chemical vapor deposition method as anode material of sodium ion batteries. The Ni2P/HPGC composite shows a high reversible specific capacity of 489 mAh g-1 at the current density of 100 mA g-1 and a good long-term cycle stability for 2000 cycles, which exhibits an excellent rate performance and cycling stability.
