Research on grey modeling for simulating and forecasting of stream information in finite time

  Traditional grey modeling based on time sequence can not simulate and forecast stream information well.This paper proposes two grey modeling methods to simulate and forecast stream information in finite time.Carrying the stream information at a given time in a matrix,the stream information can construct a matrix sequence.Grey modeling based on matrix sequence(abbreviated as MGM)is proposed there.Meanwhile,grey modeling based on vectors of function parameter(abbreviated as FVGM)is proposed to solve the problems of the size varying and information missing in stream sequence.Experiments illustrate that the two grey modeling methods can simulate and forecast stream information effectively.Specifically,the stream sequence with different sizes can be simulated and forecasted well by FVGM.
