CASE STUDY: PILE FOUNDATION AT CHAI WAN ROAD, HONG KONG
This paper describes a case study of an application of vertical inclinometer for measuring relative horizontal displacement during installation of bored pile in an unforeseeable deep rockhead at Chai Wan Road.In general, inclinometer is adopted to measure displacement in two perpendicular planes, therefore, displacement magnitudes and directions to the adjacent buildings/structures during the bored pile installation can be monitored.
