Development of Disaster Reconstruction Model and Application to Post-Disaster Education Environment
This study discussed that there are temporal and locational gaps in advancement and employment rates of young victims,i.e.the outcomes of school education and education environments. This suggests that the reconstruction processes of school education environments can be applied to the mosaic model.Chronological progress of changes in post-disaster school education environments consists of five stages.Stages where individual schools are in vary and simply depend on circumstances of victims and regions. This represents a mosaic pattern in terms of both locations and attributes of victims, suggesting that reconstruction of school education environments can be explained by the mosaic model. What is important here is that the current reconstruction stage of individual victims largely varies depending on their attributes, but there are also delays in reconstruction progress depending on specific locations. This suggests that generalization and modeling of disaster reconstruction require further clarification of the correlation between victims” attributes and locations.
