White carbon:Fluorescent carbon nanoparticles with tunable quantum yield in a reproducible, green synthesis
Carbon nanodots(CNDs)are small(1–10 nm)surface-passivated carbon nanoparticles”1”,emitting photoluminescence(PL)across the entire visible light range.Since their first description in 2004”2”,CNDs have shown their potential to become promising material for various applications including luminescent labels”3” and optoelectronic devices like LEDs”4”.
