Porcine hepatic gene expression profiles in prenatal and postnatal stages

　　Liver is a vital organ,which plays a major role in metabolism and other functions in the body.To investigate the gene expression profiling during porcine liver development,microarray analyses were used.In the study,we identified various differentially expressed genes in liver between prenatal and postnatal stages.The result showed that the up-regulated genes in prenatal liver were related to cell cycle and development process.The genes which up-regulated in postnatal liver were active in immunologic process.The study presents gene expression profiling of porcine liver in pre-and postnatal stages and can contribute to further research on porcine liver development.
