A New Discovery:Ziziphus jujuba Mill Peel Contains the Highest Amount of Cyclic Adenosine Monophosphate
Background: Thefruit of Ziziphus jujubaMill is atraditionalChinese medicine and food.To find optimal Jujube raw material for preparation Jujubefruit oral liquid characterized by the content Cyclic Adenosine Monophosphate(cAMP),four levels Jujubefruitwerechosen.Materials and methods: The cAMP contents of four levels Jujubefruit peels were determined by high performance liquid chromatography.Results: The result showed that the cAMP content of grade A Jujubefruit is lowest and grade D Jujubefruit is highest; what”s more,the cAMP content of peel is about 885 μg/g,which is almost eighty percent higher than the pulp”s.Conclusion: A new discovery: the highest content cAMP is found in Ziziphus jujuba Mill Peel.
