Analysis on Internet-driven Socialization of Educational Behavior and Its Product Mode--Two Case Studies in China

  Nowadays, in China”s online education industry, non-vocational education is emerging, which makes use of the highly efficient self-organization and social genes of the Internet to cultivate the potential of UGC.This model uses the social networks and interpersonal relationships, such as sharing of interest or lifestyle skills, creation of social networking opportunities, obtainment of self-satisfaction, to stimulate more non-educational practitioners to join online education content production, and finally to create huge and sustainable knowledge sources.Based on product features in theory of Diffusion of Innovation, this paper analyzes the possibility of existence of socialization of educational behavior and two main product modes, taking ”Jaxus” and ”Homework help”(two new Chinese online education production), as example.Drawing on their practice and experience, the author has revealed that it is a useful to explore the whole society”s knowledge creation potential and to encourage amateur educators to join the educational content production based on Internet social genes.But we need to face up to the reality that several issues still remain to be solved.
