Characterization of Chinese wheat mosaic virus isolates from Shandong province
Chinese wheat mosaic virus (CWMV) belongs to the genus Furovirus, and is naturally transmitted by Polymyxa graminis L., which is widely distributed in soil.CWMV often co-infects with Wheat yellow mosaic virus, negatively effecting crop production on an annual basis. To gain insights into the evolutionary mechanisms of CWMV, the complete RNA genome sequences of 7 CWMV isolates from Shandong Province were determined.
