Review of recent optic refractive index measurement and its applications
The optic refractive index is an essential parameter of material.It is a very important way for component analysis and concentration measurement.This paper reviews recent methods of optic refractive index measurement, such as fiber bragg grating(FBG), long-period fiber grating (LPFG), taped fiber, fiber optic displacement, surface plasmon resonance(SPR), birefringent silica microfibers, and interferometer et al., introducing their principles, characters and applications.Some recommendations are proposed at last.
