Field test analysis of eight-element fiber laser geophone array system
In this paper we report the field test results and analysis of eight-element fiber laser geophone array system in Shengli oilfield.Seismic signals are acquired simultaneously by fiber laser geophones and moving-coil geophones using downhole explosion at different points of the array.The waveform, frequency spectrum, energy,noise, etc.is used to assess the performance of fiber laser geophone.Using fiber laser technology to develop geophone and acquisition system is entirely feasible from the comparison between fiber laser geophone and moving coil geophone system.Fiber laser geophones have the advantages of high sensitivity, wide bandwidth,and good high-frequency response.
