Urbanization and Desertification Processes Interrelation: the Aimag Orkhon of Mongolia Case Study

摘要：

As a result of the earlier researches at the model territories of Darkhan-Uul, Bulgan,Dundgovi and Omnogovi aimags it was revealed that modern processes of desertification in Mongolia caused deterioration of ecological, social and economic living conditions of local population.The primary activity of local population is the animal husbandry;the most important problems are unemployment, population reduction due to migrations from rural areas,shortage of fertile land, environmental problems and weak transport connection.
