PHASE FIELD SIMULATION OF FERROMAGNETIC MATERIALS
A real-space phase field model based on the time-dependent Ginzburg-Landau equation is developed to study the domain evolution of ferromagnetic materials via the finite element implementation.The temporal evolution of domain structures in ferromagnetic materials subjected to an external stress or magnetic field are simulated.The magnetization vortex is predicted in a ferromagnetic disk, which is consistent with the experimental observation.
