Study on the Thermal Shock Mechanical Properties of Mullite Ceramic Regenerative Materials
Under different factors such as temperature difference, thermal shock times and different cooling medium, this paper studies elastic modulus and bending strength change rule curve of the mullite ceramic specimens which is made of dry pressing sintering.Studies have shown that in the condition of air cooling, with the increase of thermal shock temperature difference, the elastic modulus value is in a falling trend, but the bending strength changed little.However, the bending strength value reduced significantly when temperaturedifference is 200℃ under the condition of water cooling, and the critical temperature difference of the material can be largely determined.The paper studies the effects of different heat shock factorsinfluence on the mechanical properties of mullite ceramics, and determines the thermal shock damage degree of ceramics materials.
