IT-ERIC Project:Effects of Knowledge Building on History Learning Activities within Technology-Enhanced Classroom Learning Communities

  The aim of this study was to boost understanding in history class and achieve “IT-ERIC”,which stands for Independent learning,Thinking,Expression,peer Review,Intelligent technology,and Cooperation,within technologyenhanced classroom learning communities.Participants were 25 junior high school students who were engaged in knowledge building.Data collected include questionnaires,group”s online learning activities and students” history exam.The results showed that students improved their academic performance in history and classroom behavior.
