Thinking Styles Predict the Effect on Social Cognitive Learning:A Role-Playing to Learn the Cause-Effect of Bullying

  Bullying in junior high schools has been more serious than other levels of schools in Taiwan.To decrease the serious problems in campus is stressed in civil curriculum.In line with this,this study designed a role-playing for students to engage in bullying circumstances.To examine the effectiveness of this learning program,this study explored how individual thinking styles affect the perceived value of interplayed discourse and deep understanding of the cause-effect of bullying.In this study 72 samples were collected from the 7th grade students and the results were analyzed using SmartPLS.The results revealed that participants with high levels of creative and practical style,the higher the perceived level of social cognitive learning.In terms of high degree of perceived value and deep understanding of cause-effect in bullying; there were no significant correlation with conventional style.In conclusion,this study implied that teachers who want to practice immersive bullying learning can use variety of teaching methods and role-playing in the classroom.
