The 3D Numerical Simulation on the Shaping of Explosively Formed Projectile
In this paper, adopted explicit dynamic analyzing program AUTODYN basing on finite element to simulate the process of the explosively formed projectile shaping.Discussed how to establish the numerical simulation model of explosively formed projectile, and adopted ALE (Arbitrary Lagrange Euler) arithmetic to acquire numerical simulation results.By using the technique of numerical simulation, explosively formed projectile shaping was realized and the effects of different charge structure on explosively formed projectile shaping were analyzed, the status of warhead distortion was observed with the way of animation.At the same time, the simulational results were analyzed.By researching explosively formed projectile shaping process with the way of numerical simulation, establishing favourable base for researching explosively formed projectile destroying mechanism.
