I.Introduction The One Belt One Road (OBOR) Initiative is one of the biggest and most impressive geopolitical and economic enterprises of the beginning of the 21st century: It potentially covers 55% of the world”s GNP and 70% of the world”s population.② European media, however, have given relatively little attention to the Initiative, ③ maybe due to a lack of awareness in Europe of the long-term perspectives and planning that are important in China.
