Light/Carrier-induced degradation in multi-PERC CID/LID/LeTID Cause of degradation still unknown in the literature Cause of degradation still unknown in the literature ”Petteret al.2016” Hydrogen linked to degradation Hydrogen activates recombination Defect is more apparent in PERC and high efficiency structuresas H concentrations increase and these structures aremore sensitive to degradation(never really noticed in mc-Si full Al-BSF) →only going to get worse as we move to higher efficiency devices which become even more sensitive to this defect
