Galactic disk bulk motions and its variations with age and ”Fe/H” revealed by MSTO and FGK samples selected from LAMOST
Introduction The Milky Way(disc) is often approximatelyconsidered steady and axisymmetric.A variety of instabilities can produce nonaxisymmetricfeatures:resonances due to the barand/or spiral arms,secular evolutions,a satellitegalaxy or other halo substructure effects.Many observational non-axisymmetric featuresespecially the significant bulk motions support that the Galactic disc is not axisymmetric.
