Direct-bond magnesia-chrome refractory andcarbon-containing refractory are important for thesteel furnace.The characteristic of these refractories was explainedmainly based an their microstructure.Carbon-containing refractory has the self-repairfunction Such as decrease porosity, increase of hat-strength, farmatin of protective layer, etc. during use.For the development of this refractory, It is importantto apply this function more effectively.
