Introduction Important values of Populus euphratica Populus euphratica,the only arber species in the desert region,plays an important role in maintaining local ecosystems.P.euphratica is highly adaptable to abiotic stresses,especially salt stress.Thus,it is widely regarded as a promising candidate for studying the abiotic resistance mechanisms of woody plants.
