A joint tracking method for Beidou B3 signal
Beidou(BDS)plans to broadcast BPSK(10)and BOC(15,2.5)in B3 band.Compared to BPSK(10),BOC(15,2.5)has advantages in tracking accuracy and multipath error mitigation while ambiguity is a problem.Many unambiguous algorithms have been developed with different advantages and disadvantages.In this paper,a tracking technique based on the special signal structure of Beidou B3 is proposed to eliminate the ambiguity while maintain its tracking performance.This technique tracks the BOC(15,2.5)signal and uses the BPSK(10)loop to decide whether or not the correct peak of the correlation function is tracked.Analysis and simulation results show that this technique can fully make use of the BOC(15,2.5)tracking capacity without ambiguity and outperforms the existing AC algorithm in false-lock detection.This technique can be applied where the signal has the structure like ”BPSK+BOC”.
